CCM Computer Depth Chart Decisions

I've noticed in many of my Connected Careers that I've seen lower rated players get the starting role in several positions but mainly for the running back position, Danny Woodhead getting the start for the Pats, and seeing reports on the main page that the player beat out another for the starting role. My question is what stats or ratings does the computer use to determine who gets the start?

Remember that this is dependent on scheme. If your offense wants a speed back and theirs wants a power back the overall rating that your two teams see is going to be very different.

I was thinking that schemes had a role in this.

I've noticed the same type of problems.

For instance, instead of my CPU/Coach putting in a real running back on third down my CPU/Coach < LOVES > to put in a WR for third down plays and I don't understand it.
