Need some help with Chargers pass rushing scheme

ok so, im playing with the chargers right now and I wanna make some changes to my pass rushing because im not getting enough pressure.

Right now my scheme looks like this:
LOLB: 3-4 Pass Rusher: Shaun Phillips
ROLB: 3-4 Pass Rusher: Melvin Ingram
LE: 3-4 Run Stopper: Corey Liuget
RE: 3-4 Run Stopper: Kendall Reyes
DT: Nose Tackle: Antonio Garay

So what I was thinking was, what if instead of Liuget, and Reyes, I drafted/traded for 2 speed rushing DEs.

The problem with that though is of course speed rushing DEs are used in 3-4 defenses because they have 2 DTs, where as 3-4 defenses only have 1.

So I would have 2 pass rushing OLBs and 2 speed rushing DEs, and probably go for a run stopper DT to help out the run.

What do you guys think of this?

I think your lack of ability to get pressure has more to do with game flaws than your scheme and you will be disappointed if you go get two new players when you find out that you still can't generate a lot of pressure.

Na, because Shaun Phillips is getting 16-18 sacks a season, but hes literally the only one doing anything. My next sack leader is Melvin Ingram with about 5 a season

Correct. You are running a 3-4. Only the linebacker on that one side will generate any pressure. I ran as the Texans and Barwin had 9 sacks through 8 games. Brooks Reed had 0. It's not a matter of needing better players. When the ball snaps Reed just gets locked by the LT and no button or joystick can get him around him. It has been this way on madden for awhile. Generating pressure on the LT side is incredibly difficult.

But do you think with pass rushing DEs going against guards, rather than run stopping DEs is a good idea?
