Average corners playing like shut downs?

So I'm playing on All-Madden and have used 2 teams: Jags and Seahawks. I have the HUM PASS AWR at 0 and my corners (average at best) are sticking to the receivers like glue???!!! It's completely killing the CPU's passing attack. I've played nearly 10 games to get good sliders and every game it's the same super aware corners.

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong or what setting I should change?

Most people seem to have the opposite problem.

I think putting it at zero makes coverage better for some reason. I have seen this in quite a few games.

I have had decent results with it at 55

It's really weird. I originally had it at 40 but wanted looser coverage. I'll bump it up to 100 and see if that changes anything.

Well, it looks like the HUM PASS AWR slider does the opposite of what it should be doing. I put it up at 95 and now the CPU is getting separation.
