I press L1 to pump fake and it doesnt happen until like half-a-second after I press it.

It's pretty much useless for me b/c it throws the timing of the play off.

Yup, it's off. Feels like there's a delay in the controls. But, I think if you wait for the QB to do his dropback, it's a bit more responsive. Still not as good as when it was mapped to the right stick.

is EA aware of this? OR has it been made mention of?

Was thinking this too. If you just press the fake button then yes it is, press it with a reciever button and its pretty quick.
