Could this indicate discrepancy between Play Now and CCM

This may leave lots of room for speculation but...

I noticed in the main menu when you go to settings and change the difficulty to Pro, it automatically configures the Human sliders to all 75 across the board and leaves the CPU intact. It does likewise for All-Madden (25)

When you change the CCM difficulty, no sliders are affected. For giggles, I played a CCM game at Rookie difficulty and... guess what. The CPU team performed pretty much about as well as it did on All-Pro. This probably explains why folks are saying All-Madden was just as a hard as All-Pro.

With that said, this appears as though the difficulty in this game is entirely based on slider sets and game speed.

Perhaps EA really just isn't automatically adjusting sliders in CCM like they do in Play Now to represent the difficulty change... and perhaps they included a (what appears to be not complete) alternate implementation of AI for the CCM.
