coaching packages do they work?

i am playing with my Packers and just spent 9,500 points(wr reisgn package) to resign Jennings during regular season and he won't even accept what he is asking. Does anybody know if does purching anything even work?

I used it on my punter and it increased his interest from low to medium and he signed the contract I offered for 10k less than he wanted when before I purchased the resign package he wouldnt take the deal even when it was 20k MORE than he wanted.

Are you sure you bought the right package? There is a resign packaged for signing them before thier contract expires and then a free agent package for when they have already hit the market....

I end up paying everyone more than they are asking. I have yet to run into any cap issues at all like I did on M12.

Does anyone know how long the expert scouting package lasts for?

I just got enough XP to purchase it, and I've just made the playoffs. Is there any point me purchasing it now, with there not being long till the draft? Or once you purchase it, you have double scouting points forever?

I've also heard that the XP bonus packs do not work. Anyone have success with them? Specifically, I'm talking about the packs that increase your ability to gain XP with players at that position.
