Re-signing with team that drafted you in CCM

So I'm a created QB playing for the Cardinals. Started 3 years - 3 straight Super Bowls. And guess who has two thumbs and didn't even get an offer from the Cardinals during the off season? This guy!

What the heck? The best QB in the teams history already. 3 straight Pro-bowls. Broke passing records. Still, no offer from the team.

Has anyone else come across this?

Even if it is - what gives? Cut some players. I came in and won 3 straight Super Bowls. Yes, that's unrealistic, but not more so than not giving a contract offer to the guy who just won you 3 straight Super Bowls!

Has anyone else re-signed with their team?

Did you decline the contract offer that they gave you during the 3rd season, expecting to be able to negotiate for a better deal after the season was finished? I learned the hard way that if you reject that 1st contract they won't offer another.

This sounds kind of scary. I am pretty much in the same boat as you. I am currently in my 2nd year as the Cards QB and came within a game of the Super Bowl my rookie year. I also won the MVP, threw for 5,000 yards and yadda yadda yadda. I have really enjoyed my time with the Cards thus far and wouldn't mind being their franchise QB. The way it looks I might not have that chance.

they need to fix this for even coach mode.

too often robert griffin, and every other draft pick out of that class, some have played well, some not at all, aren't re-signed, and that is so criminal because they will tag a FB or something and RGIII heads to the wire. its disturbing, and I hope its fixed.
