Is pass interference impossible on Madden 13?

I never saw one until I lowered the slider to 35 for D and 25 for O. Not sure why but before that I had it at 100 nevr saw one

I get D PI calls once every few games..i have the sliders to 100 for Defensive Pass Interference though...it still seems like there should be more. In fact the penalties are pretty much broken imho. If you adjust the holding slider to 55...you will get a crap load of holding calls.... so something is wrong, definitely.

I got all my penalty sliders at 53...and Defensive Pass Interference at 100...that seems to be the best to get a decent amount of varied penalty calls but still far from being "right".

Its not a game breaker for me though..never really was in the past neither..seems football games have a hard time nailing down the penalty calling ..not just past maddens but even 2k,etc

Played a "play now" game this morning and believe it or not on ONE of my offense drives the defense got TWO defensive PI calls. I've been seeing more calls since I set the defensive PI slider to 99 and offensive PI slider to 1. Not sure why this is the case but certainly seeing more now than when I had both sliders set to 100.

I have not seen any offensive PI calls.

I've seen it called here and there. It really only happens when the defender bumps the receiver during his route. On another note I have clipping maxed to 100 and I have not seen it called once in all my games. This may be a penalty that has vanished.

If EA created a "fight for ball" button, or added that interaction to the existing catch button or ball hawk feature, this could trigger pass interference calls for both the WR and CB. It would probably drastically change how you play pass defense. Would it be better or worse for the game? Not sure...
