Legacy Points
So my brother has been playing a Browns franchise in which he mostly seemed and only played 2 or 3 games a season. A way in which he has enjoyed playing the game for years. He enjoyed mediocre success with the Browns this way only making about 4 playoff season in the years he did it but averaging out as about .500 team, twice he made it to Championship games, never made it to a superbowl. During the sims various players enjoyed a lot of success, one of which was Joe Haden who made it a career as a Brown, the thought was that he would retire as a consensus 1st ballot HOFer here.when he retired at the age of 36 he had 64 career interception and 1079 tackles, i am told that he won multiple defensive back of the year awards, a perenial pro bowler but despite all of this nothing, not even a mention up his retirement about his career.
So he checked out the rest of his older players who had been putting up great numbers for years, seemingly they all have relatively low lagacy scores. He then went to check their career awards and discovers that they are not getting their accolades recorded, depsite a number of repeat pro bowlers on his team in the awards section no one had a single pro bowl to their name.
What gives? has anyone noticed this? He promptly stopped playing the game as it pretty much ruined the experience for him, this was after we discovered that we could run two franchises on the same console and compete against each other as we had done for years.
Despite the massive improvement in gameplay which we both agree makes it much more fun when we control the games there are too many things wrong with 13, some big glaring issues and many small things that when all added together make it hard to appreciate all the good thing with this game.
