Cut Players in Year 2?

The cut players option ONLY appears if the players were on your roster before you advanced to the current week. In other words, if you only had 53 players on your roster when you advanced to week 4 of the preseason then the cut players option will never appear for that week.

So if you had 53 or less when week 4 of the preseason started you could sign 5 new players and advance to the regular season without having to cut anyone. It's an oversight on EA's end that allows users to start the season with more than 53 players and the game never prevents you from playing regular season games with the large roster. I tested it and I was able to play games and advance weeks all the way through the super bowl with 58 guys on my roster and none on IR.

It's technically a bug, may not get patched this year.
