Sliders are very powerful.

That was 100 user pass rush against 0 computer pass blocking. That doesn't happen every play, but with those settings [in Madden 12] will make AI controlled linemen use their moves and pressure the passer. I am using 95 pass rushing. 90 wasn't enough. I was still seeing what OP was talking about at 90.

Finesse pass rushers like Peppers and Freeny are still pretty worthless though.

Engage then flick the stick. Don't mash it and hold it down.

I demand an explanation for this nonsense from a dev. It's stupid and unreal.
Also, wilfork has 13 sacks in 8 years. His job is to eat up blockers in the middle and not get sacks.

This. I was struggling with getting to the qb a lot early on and then I managed to start doing this and it has worked wonders. Finally putting some pressure on the QB

That actually worked. Thanks! That's weird how there's no explanation for that. I used to hold the stick down when the qb hikes and it would turn into that pathetic animation.

This is true, but he's constantly putting pressure on the qb. I've seen him often bull rush against weaker linemen and they look like they're getting pushed around

I remember in Madden '12, you had to time it just right. Like right before you make contact with the OL.

Also use the left stick to disengage. For once I've had no problems putting pressure on the QB.
