Precision passing broken?

Why do my passes most of the time not lead the receiver, even though I'm moving the left stick all the way to the side? For example a receiver is running a post out, and the defender is trailing, but when I press the stick all the way to the left and pass, the ball only hits him in stride, usually resulting in an interception or batted ball.

Why can't I lead a receiver with a fast throw?

And I pressed DOWN on the joystick and a lob, and guess what? It went way farther than the receivers route. wtf? It should throw short

Yeah, playing with Matt Ryan I can never get him to throw outside of the trailing defenders coverage on out passes...it's funny because that's his bread and butter route

If I hold the stick far left or far right i'm usually waaaaay off target and usually throw out of bounds. I have to barely hold the stick at about 30% to get a desired lead affect. This is using Freeman most of the time.
