Sorry, for me they do.

Isn't that the issue for offline?

I have no issues with late game AI, none.

Really don't appreciate people accusing me of lying of the experiences I'm having.

I agree with the OP. I once again fell for the hype train, thought this year would be the year but nope just more of the same. Luckily 2k comes out in 2 days so that will hold me over till next year.

Would you mind telling me where/which slider set you are using? I'm just starting my coach CCM online and would love to get a decent gameplay out of the CPU in CCM.

I've pretty much stopped playing already (maybe one game every few days). I fully plan on getting back into it should they patch the sliders and AI, but as of right now, I just feel like I'm having to sacrifice too much to get any kind of challenge out of the CPU.

Its not that I don't enjoy the gameplay, I actually think its fantastic. It's just a little too frustrating of an experience for me right now.

Just as a note, sliders have been confirmed to be "broken" by EmmdotFrisk, one of the EA community managers. He said they aren't working as intended. Which ones, or what they're doing or not doing, who knows. That doesn't mean they don't have an effect on gameplay, so in essence they still "work."

Out of personal curiosity, would you mind pm'ing me your sliders if you have changed them at all? I certainly don't doubt your experiences with the game. Everyone is different...some things bug people more than others, sometimes I come here and read about stuff that I'm like...why is that something someone even cares about? haha. I'm just trying to enjoy the game, and right now it's not really happening for me.

I also don't seem to have as big an issue with the late game AI as some people seem to, but I have seen some "wonky" stuff from time to time.

The AI running game is beyond bad in connected career. The constant run, run, pass, punt certainly doesn't help with play selection. All the HB AI players average around 2.0 yards per carry against me. Its so bad Jackson MLB of the Browns in 13 games has 20 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
