Pass defence help M13

I am getting fed up with the cpu lobbing bombs all game long....my defence is giving up 450-500 yards passing and there's nothing i can do about it. i've tried all different play calling schemes and same thing happens..cpu sends it's wideouts on a streak my db get's burnt every time and it seems only one bomb misses per game...skelton, romo, are doing this not just the good qb's. can anyone help with a slider set or am I missing something? every game just turns into a shoot out. I've tried all pro and pro as i've heard all madden has it's own problems. i've got 5 careers going and every one my team ranks in the top on offense and dead last on d.

are your safeties in deep zone while this is happening?

Romo is a pretty darn good quarterback

Anyway, what I would do is make sure you have at least one safety in a deep zone at all times and try to avoid going in press coverage. That should at least solve some of the problem.

I've been using press to try and slow down the WR's. kind of a no win scenario...if I don't press they get a 5 yard start on the streak before they get to my guy...I've gone into the replay to see why this keeps happening and every time my db's are looking at the qb and the wr's blow by. they don't even bump em or follow. I usually play as a lb or de. maybe I should start playing as the db but I dunno...

I think you're right. so from reading the thread I've got to switch to pass defend every play pretty much. I'll give it a shot tonight.

Personally I just started using a safety instead of a lineman/lb like I have in the past, and I don't ever see it happen. Then you only have yourself to blame if you get beat deep :P
