Freezing during in-game...anyone else?

I know we've had some different threads about freezing but this is something a little different that only started happening to me recently. I've had freezing issues almost daily with this game, but never in the middle of a game until day before yesterday. When I try to change something around on my depth chart for a one-game swap, my game freezes. I've tried to do this three times in the same game with the same results. Am I the only one?

Xbox or PS3? It seems like PS3 has a lot more freezing problems.

It's PS3. I realized after posting that I forgot to mention that. It's nothing with the disc because I keep my games in EXCELLENT condition. So, I was just curious how isolated this is. I've seemingly had a lot of problems with Madden games freezing since forever, regardless of system.
