1) Development is generally tied to player awareness. Players with C/C+ ratings are generally fast development while players with B- or higher are generally star development. Finding high development players is easier than you think.

2) Draft classes are not truly randomized. There are some storyline players that will change based on what happens during the college season, but the late round sleepers don't change, leaving a large number of good players that will be good every time you see that draft class.

3) Every person understands scouting differently. Some to a higher degree than others, meaning that some people look at the number of scouting points you get as far too few because they only want to focus on spending points on high cost attributes. This is a way to help those who don't quite understand how scouting works and can level the playing field for all.

4) Think about this. These guys have made this draft guide pretty quickly and while it only contains a small amount of information, people are already getting worked up over it. I'm sure many users know how to bypass the scouting points limit anyway, meaning they could just fire up an offline CCM until it lands on the right draft class, simulate to the end of the season, then scout to their heart's content (and be a LOT more thorough). What's the better situation to you, when a handful of users are 'cheating' or when everyone has access to a 'scouting resource'?

These guides are a pretty decent way to prevent more in-depth cheating of the drafts from year to year.
Good stuff man, thanks
