Connected Career Question & Belichick in the game

I have been looking to join a good league with the Connected Careers feature...The filtered search makes it ridiculously easy to create or find a league to join. There are lots of variations and rules that can be set. This is the good.

I figured it would be difficult to find 20+ player leagues without someone already having the Pats. I was floored when lots of them showed up and I joined one with 22 players already on board. There was Coach Jerry Sandusky who is now coaching the Broncos, and a bunch of other real and created coaches, receivers, etc. It was almost too good to be true. I wanted to use Belichick, but he's not in the game so I decided to put Game Face to the test. I found pictures of bill with a grin and after an exhaustive search, found a profile shot that would really make a good 3D Bill Belichick. The results are in the video below. This was awesome.

I looked for a message board like you see in the community section, but no dice.
I decide to send a message to the league creator asking if he would start the league before 32 people joined, but he never responded. This is the sad.

Within a few days, the league was full. No messages, no message board, no..nothing. This was the weird.

I figured we were waiting for the new roster and indeed the league is now up and running at week 2 already! What happened to pre-season? Week 1? A message saying the league started? Anything?

I go into a practice for points and I see Matt Hasselback taking snaps. I've got Deion Branch, but I also have Santana Moss.

This is the twilight zone.

Am i missing something or is there currently no message board of any kind in game or on the site connected to the league?

Any help is appreciated, because this could be really cool

You have approached this in the wrong way, in my opinion. Don't look for leagues through the game itself but, instead, check forums for established leagues.

Madden Sim Leagues

Online leagues are a great experience when they are active and have sim rules established. Start with the online forums here at OS. Accept that you might have to be someone other than the Pats.

I fou d one and the gameface looked similar to the video, but after importing it into madden it looked nothing like what is on the gameface website... Very disappointing
