Player Overall VS Stats

When looking at players, does the player overall effect how well the player is even if there stats are really high. Some Overalls don't reflect how good the players stats are. Or even the reverse. A player with a high overall with not so good of stats

Does a players overall really matter? Two players can have similar stats it one can have 10 better overall. Or a player can have a better overall but his stats aren't as good.

Some stuff that doesn't matter at all is weighted heavily in the overall stat. Like AWR for a running back that you're controlling.

So yes, if you're actually playing the game (or playing CCM as a coach or that RB), a back with a lower OVR (due to having bad awareness or BCV, but has higher speed, carring, etc) can be much better than a back that has a higher OVR due to high AWR.
