Auto sprint in Madden 13 question

I understand a lot of people turn auto sprint to off but I'm also reading some say that there isn't as much of a need to because the stick is pressure sensitive when using auto sprint.

They go as far as to say that auto sprint on give you more control because you can use it as a gas pedal to take advantage of different levels of speed. Auto sprint off only allows for normal or sprint.

I can't test this because I'm at work but I have league members who want to change the league to auto sprint and I want to understand the differences.

You don't have to change the whole league. It's individual, so each person in your league can change it in their personal settings.

Very true but people want to be on the same level. I just want to hear someones opinion on if the auto sprint allows more levels of speed than auto sprint off. If it's pressure sensitive wouldn't that be the case?

Anyway, I was under the impression that 'auto sprint on' means the CPU decides for you when & when not to sprint & that 'auto off' gives you full control.

I was under the same impression but another forum's mod said that auto means that the stick is pressure sensitive in Madden 13.

I dont know about all that. Only thing I know is that my players, in particular Jamaal Charles, is at least two steps slower using auto sprint. I can definitely tell a difference between using it and not using it.

That's interesting. It's crazy how many different opinons of what auto sprint does are out there.
