Online CCM questions regarding coach change

I am in a 4 person CCM and we are picking up a 5th, we are in the playoffs of year 1. The new owner wants the team I had this year and I will be taking over a new team.

When is the best time to make this change?

What happens to my coaches scouting points?

What happens to the player progression points?

We would prefer to progress the players manually if possible even if I have to do it prior to leaving the team.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The best time is most likely during the playoffs or immediately after, which is when most teams would fire their coaches. That way both owners have full control over the offseason.

I BELIEVE that players keep their progression points, although I would like that to be confirmed, because I want to do a Jets CCM where I play out the season as Rex Ryan, have a bad year and then replace him with a custom coach, so some clarification would be appreciated.

As for scouting points, I honestly have no idea.

Yeah, I probably will do the scouting with the points I have before I leave the team. That would be ideal if the player progression points stayed and didn't get spent immediately after leaving. I'll let you know how it goes if you don't find out earlier. A quick sim would probably give me the answers I'm looking for. We are in the playoffs now and I'm not in.
