Procedual break tackles

This was adressed last year. Basically its where players have a break tackle animation that plays that doesn't lose yards. Its specifically for receivers. They catch a pass for a gain of 10 yards and break a tackle and run back towards the line of scrimmage. Wasn't this fixed last year?

Didn't play 12, but this happens all the time in 13 to me.

Foward progress? I don't see where it's a problem.

They don't give forward progress on broken tackles in Madden

No, like you catch a pass on a curl and get hit immediately. The break tackle animation triggers and you run 3 yards backwards, while being tackled backwards you get hit by somebody else and the put the ball down where you are tackled but not where your forward progress was.

The receiver should attempt to go down or drive back towards the first down. Especially on smart routes. And Especially on curls. Not too many receiver would be trying to break tackles and lose 10 yards and end up back on the LOS.

Just noticed I spelled procedural wrong too...

I've noticed the same.

The same thing sometimes happens when RB's are trying to bounce outside. They just keep bouncing backwards off of tackles and what should have been a two-three second one yard gain off tackle turns into a six second run with three or four missed tackles that finally goes out of bounds for -5 cause the RB just keeps bouncing backwards instead of just going down.
