Career Mode/Franchise Mode

When I select Coaches mode, and go into a "franchise" i don't see the menu option to re-order rosters, or to change settings. I don't like injuries on in pre-season, so just turn em off then back on in season.

But I couldn't find where to manage my depth chart.

To edit your depth chart: More>Personnel>Depth Chart.

I don't recall seeing it in the More menu option, have to check that out again.

Scouting - uses a point system now to buy things, do you earn more points throughout the season?

If you don't, are there any guides or tips as to what to look for for each position?

I'm using Jarrod's settings for the gameplay itself

You earn 2000 scouting points every week, and when you find a player or position you like, use those points to find out the rating

Another thing, where do I find free agents if I have injuries?

Can I place players on IR?

Now that I'm thinking more on it stuff that I could do last year, I have no clue where to do it this year....

Free agency is where you set your rosters and depth chart up and etc.. And far as the IR stuff, my only suggestion is to click on there name and see if you can place them there

Question, sorry if this has been answered numerous times but

In offline CCM, why can't I use custom rosters?

I go to my Madden, manage files, then I load the custom film.

Then I go to play career, start my career, play offline.

Message pops up: Which CC roster do you wish to use?
- Use default CC roster
- Import My Madden roster

I select my Madden roster.

Then it goes into a loading data thing but not the actually loading screen.

Then I go into selecting coach, active coach. I pick my team. I don't touch any of the settings. Then I start my career.

Then I start my league.

Issues:
I go over to look at my roster and the overalls of players are changed.
I look at FA's. There are so many players that shouldn't even be there.

What is going on? Any help? Please and thank you.

The OVRs of players will always be different when you load up a new Connected Careers because unlike past Madden games, the overall of your player is based on how they fit into your schemes. If you're at all familiar with NFL Head Coach 09, a fantastic simulation of football management in my opinion, this idea stems a lot from that game.

The attributes don't change themselves, but the calculation method for producing the OVR rating does. Hope that makes sense.

As for why your offline roster isn't loading, I'm not sure. You're doing it right, as far as I'm aware. Keep me posted on if you get it to work.
