Switching from 3-4 to 4-3, anything I should be wary of?

Most of my best 3-4 players are aging and I want to start over with a 4-3 look. I was planning on starting with my next off-season. I know to change my schemes and playbook and style but is there anything else I might be forgetting?

Just want to hear from the experts before I commit.

Changing your scheme won't remove the 2nd MLB or add a 2nd DT to your player type screeen, FYI. Not that that matters....your setting for MLB1 also applies to MLB2 no matter what you set MLB2 anyways. Same thing for the DT's.

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I played with that screen a little last night, just experimenting and noticed what you mentioned. So it doesn't even rest the next season?

Defiantly not something you could do over one year unless you want huge cap penalties. If suggest going with Hybrid Multiple Front with Multiple D Playbook and slowly get your 4-3 Balanced, Run Stopper, etc. type players.

Well I guess the obvious stuff applies, you have to realize your OLBs will most likely suck in coverage and your LDE will probably be too slow to be an efficient pass rusher and stuff like that, but I expect you know all that?

Other than that, not much you have to be wary of, in my opinion.

No. Most of the scheme/player type stuff is useless and broken.

He is probably going to be putting the OLBS at DE and the DEs at DT, while converting some MLBs to OLB.
I did that but in reverse for the Eagles, I wanted a 3-4 look because that is what I run.

I changed to a 4-3 on my online 27 human player CCM with the Cowboys.

LBs:

Ware
Lee
Carter

Line:

Chris Clemons (traded Marcus spears and a 2nd)
Hatcher
Ratliff
Spencer

Worked out well. I might release Clemons, draft a LB and move ware to DE.
