So far I have the same HC for the Bears you had turn up in 2013,

And a new Bengals HC with a WCO and an Attacking 3-4...

Marvin Lewis is now with the Eagles...

It's a bit off topic but I'm interested in how the QBs careers play out...

Because of the lousy ratings given to guys like Tannahill / Ponder / Gabbert, they're not on the field so far, even in 2013...

Do guys like those three and guys like Locker / Mallett eventually have impact?

Okay, not exactly the best box score to showcase the imaginary coaches playcalling here. It wasn't exactly a typical game that I've had however. The last time I had the CPU have that many carries against me was, coincidentally, the last time I didn't change the CPU playbook.

In the end they ran 22 pass plays to 39 runs which is very run heavy. Their coach was Michael Lattimer and his scheme is Power Run. Their QB was also only a 79 with sub-80's accuracy ratings across the board so I'd like to think that it had something to do with it as well. Had I stopped them better, they would have thrown more but they were picking up pretty consistent chunks throughout the entire game and were left with a lot of third and short situations.

Tannehill just won the last Super Bowl on mine but it was with the Texans. I'm not sure what he is rated at this point but I'd have to say he's improved.

Locker has been the Raiders starter for the last couple seasons and I believe he still is heading into my current one.

Gabbert had been the Jaguars starter the last couple times I had played them and had taken them to the playoffs at least once but he hadn't progressed very much. I don't believe he is there starter anymore though because they just took a "once in a lifetime" QB with the number one overall in my latest draft.

I just played the Vikings last season and he was a backup to a young QB they had recently drafted.

I haven't seen Mallett at all throughout my CCM so I'm not sure where he has wound up. I know that Kolb is currently the New England starter which I thought was really odd.

Re: The Academy of Imaginary Coaches - Madden 13 Edition

My Corey Jason (CHI / 2013) turned out like yours

But I ended up with a guy called Russell Holloway as HC / CIN / 2013...

He's West Coast (PHI Book) on O and his D is Multiple Hybrid (GB)...I gave them the generic WC book and left the GB book...they shredded me...that book really agrees with Dalton! Plus, BJGE is third on the depth chart behind starter Woodhead and rookie backup...

My NO HC is called Craig Francher and he's Power Run / Hybrid...not sure what books he uses yet...haven't played them...

As expected, they seem to come out with some variation from CCM to CCM, not unlike the draft classes...

Good stuff!

Sweet! I just added them to the front page.

Hopefully moving forward with CCM, they allow us to hire and fire these coaches at our leisure. I can't help but think it would be awesome to fire a coach mid-season, give the position to a coordinator and then go coach shopping in the offseason. And I could only imagine if they allowed us to create random coaches that we attached schemes and playbooks to that the CPU teams would hire. Oh the possibilities...

Just played another game against the Saints. Their coach was Rock Munde whose offensive scheme is balanced and offensive playbook was the Giants. They were pretty balanced throughout the entire game and pretty much torched me every way possible. In the end they ran 35 times and threw 29 times which is a nice balance and much better than my previous game against a fictional coach.
