Point of a power back is to run straight through the defense, if you're edge rushing or tossing your doing it wrong. Power Backs should have good strength so when they fall they have a chance of getting extra yards and trucking.

Thats all i use. Favorite story line backs so far ive had are julio caulder and mark woods. Traded for isaac redman first season of ccm and destroyed every rushing record, in turn bested by caulder, then again with woods. If you know how to run with them they are unstoppable ( power backs).

Another important consideration here is whether or not the back has the fight for yards trait. That's the big one. It impacts the consistency with which power backs push the line and drag tacklers.
