Custom Rosters in offline CCM possible?

Is it possible to play a offline career mode using custom or updated rosters? I keep trying to start a career but I get the same original/non-updated rosters no matter what option I choose (default CCM, My Madden or downloaded CCM rosters)

I thought u were able to do that since the patch came out. idk, are u choosing the right option? I see the option to do it but never have so idk...

Yes the option to do it pops up but no matter what option i choose (default CCM, My Madden or downloaded CCM rosters) I get the same roster, a totally different roster than the one in My Madden. I'm trying to start a offline career with the Bears. The ratings for Melton 88, Jennings 89 & Webb 73 in My Madden rosters when i start a career Melton 73, Jennings 81 & Webb 82 regardless of what option I pick.

Where do I get the patch? Does it offer it automatically when u start the game?

the overalls will be different because ccm is run by schemes so the players will never have there overalls of play now.

I choose the same coach (Lovie Smith) though so I'm not changing schemes...if that matters

No, schemes don't factor into it at all outside of CC. The front end rating are the baseline ratings.

Test the rosters by releasing a player or drastically altering one guys attribute (e.g. lower Cutler's THP to 60 and see if it carries over)

well i know thats how ccm works is with schemes i was saying the same thing as u if u dont change coaches the overalls should stay same but its how the players on your team fit your scheme. u may be able to edit them to there play now overalls? since its offline.
