What is the difference between the free and paid app? Want to give it a go after reading all you've put into and was wondering the difference between them.

No ads in paid version. That is the only difference

Haven't been able to try it on a game I'm not in yet but so far it's worked on my games. Seems to refresh scores a tad slow but I'm sure that's probably inevitable due to it having go through the servers. Will tell you more when I have a chance to check out out further.

Fyi I only play Madden 13 so I can't speak for the other games.

so this is if u only play online franchise? online because when i punched in my user name it only took me to the page like ea's that showed my record for online play and it showed the match history of all my games so where does it show the live scores??? or do u have to be in a game for that to pop up?

Have to be in a game or have one of your "followed players" be in a game. The live scoreboard is available from the main screen -> Options -> XBOX Live Scoreboard

It's usually 3-5 minutes late, as you said, due to the servers
