Nice guide lotusfather.
Wondering if I could get some advice. I've been using the 49ers for around 4 seasons and am now at the Arnez Boston draft season. Even though some of the original 49ers defense have retired, I've been able to fill in the gaps with solid draft picks (thanks to your guide).
So I need some advice for my offense. I dumped Alex Smith early (thank God) and picked up Matt Ryan. This was before Colin Kaepernick began to start/be amazing so he's not really an option. Ryan around 31-32 years old, so what QB should I be looking for?
Also, Frank Gore after posting record seasons is 32 and will retire soon, so any advice on HBs to look out for in the upcoming drafts? I may be able to hold off on a franchise HB for a couple years by picking up free agents, but that won't suffice. Draft rounds/picks shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks!

Honestly your only a year away from some outstanding replacements. The Ian Jones Draft is just about perfect for yo to grab a superstar QB and HB with good starting overalls.
At QB it is Hayden Barnett, he has good size 6'3" 240, mobility and arm strength. He goes in the 3rd. His starting overalls are between 80 and 82, depending on scheme.
At HB there are a few more options. I personally like powerbacks which makes this draft even better for me.
First off there is Hadrien Bellwhether, he is a clone of Eddie George, same size, school, and background. He is a storyline guy though so if it turns out good he will be going super high (Top 5 easy) and if he injures his knee don't bother. He has ok speed (86), and if he is going to be good he has good overalls, between 86 and 81 (not counting receiving back).
Then there is Delane Matumbo, he is another storyline guy, he gets compared to Jerome Bettis, though it is nothing like Bellwhether/George.
He is a good powerback (86 overall) with ok speed (86), he goes in the 1st.
I havn't seen a poor outcome for his story though they do talk during the season about him switching to FB, but I havn't seen it yet.
Finally there is Storm Jones, he is a little guy (5'8" 193) who goes in the 2nd, he has good speed (92) and is very well balanced (between 84 and 78 overall).
...I would be remiss not to mention Salim Johnson from the Boston draft. I havn't used him much but have heard good things about him. He is a burner (99 speed) who goes in the top half of the 1st. His overalls are kind of low (82 to 71) but his speed will mask a lot 'til his skills are improved.
Hope this helps, would love to hear who you end up drafting. Let me know if you need anything else.
