I am not a Bills fan, but I like a challenge, so I took a picture of Doug Marrone, created a Game Face with him, went to my NCAA 12 game, looked at the Syracuse playbook & run/pass/agression ratios (Offense/Defense), then tried to find a offensive playboook that is similiar. The closest I could find is the Jets, or the Saints. The Jets are power run, whcih Syracuse was not, so the Saints are the best option. It's too bad we can't use created playbooks in CCM, becuase I created almost the exact same playbook listed for Syracuse in the NCAA game, but found out I wasted my time, because I couldn't select it as my playbook for Marrone.
Anyhow, I simmed the first season with Chan Gailey, & then at the end of the season, created Marrone, selected the Jets defensive scheme (because they hired their d-coordinator) & used the run/pass/aggression ratios from the NCAA game.
It is a challenge that will take more than a few season to build the team. The biggest challege is the salary cap & contracts & the fact that I am switching from a 4-3, to a 3-4.
The Bills have quite a few highly over paid players that you cannot cut, or trade without taking HUGE cap hits. Fitzpatrick has a $49mil contract that you can't really get out from under; Marcel Darius is rated 79 & making more than $20mil; Terrence Newman is rated 77 & making more than $20mil. Mario Wiliams is got a $96mil contract; Kerney is making a lot, Mark Anderson is making a lot; Stevie Johnson's contract is crazy; C.J. Spiller is making more than $20mil.
Factor in all the salary cap problems & the fact that you need to sign players to fill your 3-4 needs on defense & you have a serious rebuilding project on your hands that can take you a few seasons just to "right the ship," let alone make a run for the Super Bowl.
