Cheesers are getting on my nerve

I hate when they go no huddle all game, going from 2 WR sets to 4 wide. Going from 4 wide to tight set having a WR at TE. I hate all the gimmic defenses, that drops 9 or 10 in coverage. I'm tired of players malipulating AI just to get an advantage just to win a video game. It's no fun playing online cause you can never get a straight up match. I play in a league, but when you play your game and you still want to play, playing the CPU just ain't run. Sorry for my rant

That is what online ranked game are. I don't understand your frustration. That's like ordering a fudge sundae and being upset it tastes like a fudge sundae.

To be honest with you, I think this one stems from users who are so used to getting stuck playing against players who cheese it up on offense.

Like, I've gotten into the habit of manipulating my defensive lineman pre-snap to either spy or drop into zone coverage of some kind solely because when you play online, you know that the majority of the time your opponent's offense is going to have some annoying gimmick. Either he'll have some tiny, speedy WR as his TE or he'll throw post routes every play or user-control his receivers so they don't even run designed routes. And, unfortunately, one of the only ways to defend cheese is with cheese.

So, I've come out in games cheesy as a means of over-compensating and then when I realized I was playing against someone who wasn't a wanker, I'd knock it off. But you almost have to come out assuming the worst or else you'll get burned right out of the gate. In short: it sucks.

This is exactly why I never play online. I myself am a huge cheeser (in solo play) who exploits the AI to put up ridiculous stats and improve my players to absurd levels, but I would certainly never want to play against someone like me. This is also not exclusive to madden. This is true of all online games; some players will always exploit every exploitable aspect of the AI. I had a friend in college who was a Halo god (like the kind of guy who gets 40 kills in a match and is disappointed), and when Halo 3 came out, he spent hours playing solo just testing out every last move and combination, just to find all the exploits he could. This is the same reason I don't play COD; the best players are usually also those who are best at exploiting the AI. Frankly, I'm tired of people complaining about cheesers. They are just a fact of any online play. Madden is just easier to exploit than most games. If it bothers you so much, start playing solo or stop buying Madden.

They cant drop 9 into coverage all game if you run the football. I hate it when people pass every down than complain that people are playing max coverage vs them. That is just as cheesy in my opinion.

Also the guys with 5 audibles from 4 different formations are easier to read, than the guys that can run and pass out of the same sets, at least for me anyway.

Oh I run the ball, but when you have a guy that gets his defensive tackle and move him to line backer depth. Still drop 9 but when you run, the offensive lineman acts all dumb and freezes not know who to block, you hit a hole and he's right there.

totally feel your frustration - its a terrible feeling when you run into things that you like whether you can or can't stop them.

the best way I have found to frustrate no huddle players is to move at an extremely slow pace yourself. If they are audibling into specific sets its not to create mismatches but rather use a specific play.

Against guys taht drop a ton into coverage look to use HB draws, screens, and read options. These 3 things will CRUSH max coverage guys
