CCM is ok but we need the control back we had with 12..
what they did to this feature last year was idiotic. If someone wants "realism" by controlling ONE team than they can do that with or without 32 team control. by removing 32 team control EA ruined the CC/franchise experience for thousands of people

I like to mimic real life, I like to keep rosters as realistic as possible while mirroring real life wins and loses.

EA is terrible at programming CPU roster management. So a lot of people take control, or did, of all the teams so they can minimize the stupidity of CPU teams in terms of depth chart/FA/Draft.

I have considered writing out some ideas for the programmers to minimize these shortcomings, but wonder if they would ever reach anyone with influence - or if they did get heard, would they be acted upon...

Re: Will you be able to control all 32 teams in Madden 25?

This is the main reason why I stopped playing the game for the past month because I got frustrated seeing all the offseason moves going on in real life and wasn't able to duplicate it like I always do every year because they took full control away.. I can't remember the last time I stopped playing Madden this early. I usually play year round up until NCAA comes out. I also got frustrated with all the dumb moves the CPU was doing over the years.

I would have done it so that I drafted for every team and I came up with some sort of formula to do free agency as well. Basically, just controlled all the other teams rosters while I only played games with my teams with the goal of making all of the other teams as good as possible.
And that's it, exactly. That's why I like/want full customization and full 32 team/league control. I then have two great options at my disposal:

1. I can play every game or sim them for (at least) the accurate win/loss results, as well as every game having (to my best knowledge) the correctly rated players starting/subbing to promote the accurate competition...and do this all the way to the Super Bowl.

or

2. I can set every team's roster/ratings to the best, competitive representation that I can...and just pick one team to have at it. Whatever happens, happens. If at any point during my season, some player in real life breaks out or gets injured...I can act accordingly, and it usually does affect the simmed league in doing so.

Full blown control in a sport game offers the most replay value you can have. That matters to many of us, for we don't all just buy a game for playing it only Sept. through Jan.

Re: Will you be able to control all 32 teams in Madden 25?

that looman quote irks me. Listen, I don't WANT to help the cpu make decisions, I just want to stop them from holding onto their 50 mil in cap space, and watch them let Andrew luck walk for nothing, using their tag on no one, when I just had an awesome rivalry going, then all of a sudden, im facing blane gabbert instead. that is just ridiculous team management.

Id like to be able to allow a top rated number 1 pick to play over some complete garbage FA who is OVERRATED by madden. we can't change those ratings and go into an online league, lower them to allow for the rookies to actually get a chance to play. instead, the league is where young players tend to do absolutely nothing on cpu teams.

there are so many problems, that FORCE US to make changes. I just played through 3-4 years in a franchise, then had to go team by team re-signing players to avoid them allowing RGIII to walk etc. what did this do though? It totally ruined all the team scheme set ups, and there goes my league.

what does it hurt them, to allow 32 team control, in offline? the mark of a great game is one that gives you options. take civilization, game wouldn't be so great if you couldn't set the game exactly to how you want it, well, madden franchise, should be the same.

he can only make that argument if the logic was better. but you cannot defend the bengals with a ton of cap space, cutting off a DPOY season, Geno Atkins a 95 overall. you just can't. don't tell us that these things happen in the nfl. there are NO off field variables here. fix the ratings and the cpu AI, and Id agree. til then, sorry, I want to fix the cpu's ridiculous mistakes before they happen. as unlike those who make the game, we see them a mile away.
