As a Pats fan I'd think you'd know this, but that's not why BB isn't in the game. He is not part of the NFL Coaches Union. This is just a byproduct of that, it's not like he specifically doesn't want to be in Madden.

Exactly. The same thing happened with Michael Jordan and late-career Barry Bonds--they were not part of their respective players' unions.
