Looks like EA learned from the Madden 06 debacle. At least they're acknowledging that it was a debacle now. Hopefully everything is as it seems and they did indeed learn from that. We'll find out at E3 I guess. I have been fooled by EA before.

Yeah I agree I really hope this engine turns out as there claiming it to be and we have a great next gen from EA Sports

The quote about starting over in a much much better position isn't really saying much considering 06 was a just a bare bones ugly football game.

Sounds good as everything with EA/Tiburon does. Can't wait for E3 to either be amazed or have the biggest laugh of the year, followed by a couple tears of sadness.

Im not buying the story...I still don't trust EA. This year im the doing the same as last... renewing my EA season pass and trying every game before I buy them, then be glued to these forums to find out what bugs are in this years games to see if its worth it. When I get my PS4, I will leave every EA game in plastic until I find out if it needs to be returned.

It still says nothing though. It doesn't say for instance "The cgi shown is a manipulation of the replay system in the next gen version of our sports games..." It really says nothing. There's cryptic then there's deception...which do think the 06 to current Madden purchaser is more likely to believe? Where is the fig leaf?
