Was it NASCAR Racing 2003 Season? If so, you couldn't have picked a better example of why sports gaming on PCs can be great. That game was well ahead of its time, and had awesome customization abilities. I remember spending hours designing custom car skins (some serious, some for the LOLs) and taking them online with friends (some serious races, some destruction derby style ones). And I'm not even the slightest NASCAR fan.

Customization via modding, save file editing, and maybe additonal options. Also, slightly better graphics.

Slightly better? PC definitely dominates consoles in the graphical area by far. With the new consoles however slightly might be more appropriate, but as of now it's by far.

Who knows if its true or not, IGN has had it listed as coming out for the PC for over a week and hasn't change it. But, I hope its true.

UI is almost always WORLDS better on a PC as well. Though biggest things are some of the things you mentioned.
