Personally, I thought that what was shown was light years ahead of what we have now. Even at the standard camera angle, the extra details are readily apparent. Also, the new line interactions are pretty outstanding especially when stacked up against what we've had the last few years. Is everything perfect? No, of course not but it finally looks like EA is putting serious effort into this instead of just charging for a rehash. I just went and pre-ordered it for the ps4. I can't wait to see more.

I've flip-flopped so much on the idea of next-gen Madden in the past few days. On one hand, it certainly seems running will be MUCH improved from a control standpoint. Animations are still hit and miss. Graphically it's an improvement over what once was there, but it's tough to see just how much of an improvement everything is.

I don't see the correlation between the new IGNITE and how this is an entirely new, fresh Madden experience just yet, though. It seems Madden is going the route of its corporate competitor circa 2005 and polishing its last-generation engine gradually until it becomes an entirely new experience. In other words, it may take a few years for IGNITE's plans to be fully realized, and I'm willing to wait a few years if it means getting something truly groundbreaking and fresh in this series.

Long story short, I'm not sure what to think at this early stage. We'll see come launch day in November (or when more videos make their rounds).

The blocking was awesome they were double teaming and sliding off to the linebackers. I really liked how the lineman were getting up the field. The video looked great

I was really looking forward to next gen madden. This video didn't help at all. It looks like a port from current gen with a upgraded graphics, and some better running animations. I believe in the law of averages and I hoping that this is the year that Madden is a good game. Thus, I will reserve judgment up until the demo. However, if this video is what the final game turns out to be then I am disappointed. I grew up on Madden and its sad that it has come to this.
