Madden 12 question

if playing a multi player franchise, my brother in law is one team and I am another. If on the schedule we both play at 1:00 but his game is first as far as the order when looking at the screen, is there anyway I can play my game w/o his automatically simualaitng. I choose play this game for mine but his simulates which means I have to wait until he plays his so I can play mine. I thought before this would only happen if his game time was 1:00 and mine was 4:15. Thanks.

No,even when user-controlling all 32 teams the game that's listed first must be played or will automatically simulate if you try to go to the next game.
