Best Madden games of all-time?

I have to say Madden 12 is my favorite of all time.

Mine as well, but I wasn't a hardcore football gamer til this generation, so I don't have the affinity for M05 & the like.

I just think M12 was a well put together package. Madden gameplay is Madden gameplay: either you can have fun with it or you can't. But with the commitment to presentation, coolness of DPP, player model & equipment accuracy, and customizeable franchise, it was just a complete game.

If not for the horrid commentary and low completion %'s, I could get immersed back in it. But the commentary itself makes the game feel dated.

Like others have said, Madden '05 with Ray Lewis on the cover was excellent.

Good thing I still have 12. I started buying Madden in 12 and decided to skip 13 this year. Since I'm also waiting to get 25 on next gen, I'll just play Madden 12 with updated rosters.

suprised to see so much love for 12, IMO the gameplay is some of the worst in the series (recent years anyway)

Id go madden 10, dont really remember 05 so cant say that one.
