Andrew Luck throws a pass, it gets picked off by Patrick Peterson (98 spd), and runs down the sideline only to have Luck catch him and tackle him right before he gets to the endzone.

Ummm... did i miss something here?

is the pursuit rating cause this? basically causing guys who are slow to run faster when chasing a ball carrier?

I see it a lot but only the CPU seems to be able to pull it off. CPU ball carriers pull away from my guys all the time or at least maintain a lead but I had Jahvid Best get caught from behind by the CPU kicker on a couple of KRs and Reggie Bush gets tracked down by D-linemen all the time in my games (with the threshold at zero).

This. They put a speed up code in the game to balance things out on defense. Instead of correcting the issues youll see things like a lb catching reggie bush or a kicker catching devon hester...

This happens to me on kick and punt returns, along with toss plays but that's kinda understandable cause treat Richardson isn't exactly a burner. However, Brandon banks shouldn't be able to be caught by anyone on kickoffs, and trindon holiday is just as fast for my punts

I have the same issue, I thought it must be a stamina thing, but it happens when I don't use the acceleration burst at all.
What should the threshold be set to??
