I can't believe madden next gen will not be at gamescon!

They are showing gameplay of the ufc game that comes out next year. How could they not show next gen madden that comes out in a couple months????

I'd say blame it on current gen or maybe they have nothing that impressive to show.

I would say this would have something to do with it and the timing. Releasing information about next gen a week before the current generation release would affect sales.

Still, it would be nice to have something there just to remind us it is still in development.

Maybe because the show is in Germany and they think those attending wouldn't be interested in an American football game. Or either they have something planned for the unveiling, or they just don't have anything special to show, lol.

Well, it could be they have nothing to show OR it could be they DO have something to show (just to throw that out there, not necessarily that I believe that to be true).

But think about it, if they were to reveal something fantastic, maybe some who were planning on buying both versions would just sit back and wait for NG only.

You won't see anything next-gen til a month after current gen release at best, so we should see some Madden next-gen footage late Sept early-mid October. The reason is because they don't want people holding out for the next-gen version and not buy the current version. They want to milk all the sells they can get from the current gen version, then hit people with next-gen Madden and have those same people buy the next-gen version too.
