Just an update. I contacted EA yesterday and the seemed unaware of any issues, actually the two people I spoke with didn't even know what website I was talking about. I was sent through basic trouble shooting, then my problem was escalated.
I got a response from the "escalation team" today and they say the website is working properly.
No other complaints have been received. (Realy?)
It clearly is not, if you have a moment please contact EA via Twitter, Facebook or tech support and make them aware!
