Re: Relocation

Likely relocate the Jags to London or restore a team in L.A.

Re: Relocation

I was messing with the relocation modes just because I wanted to know the difference between everyone and normal. I was doing a 32 team control and toggled the option to everyone. Pre-season week 3 rolls around and I am given the option as the Patriots to relocate even though I did not select the option (I couldn't anyways). I am pretty sure the everyone option allows any team to start the relocation process without the restrictions. Normal mode will only allow teams to relocate that qualify based on the restrictions.

Re: Relocation

Saints also have the option of relocating in the first year, but I think it may be buggy. In messing around with it last night, Drew Brees retires after the first year if you relocate, but stays around if you do not move the team.

Re: Relocation

This may have been answered but I have to ask this...if you're doing an online connected franchise, can you move a team? Or is this only offline connected franchises?

Re: Relocation

Before you start your franchise, you need to double check the "Franchise Relocation" checkbox on your settings. If you set it to "off" no one moves, or builds new stadiums. I believe you can only upgrade what you have. If you set it to "normal", the "relocation rules" apply where you need to be low in revenue and have a stadium rating in the dirt (I believe it is 20 or lower, not sure). If you set it to "no restrictions", anyone can, and will relocate.

In my franchise (set to normal), the Rams moved to Mexico City and Memphis asked me to relocate there (I am the Bills, and I declined).

The teams out of the gate are Raiders, Rams, Jags, Titans, Jets, and I can't remember the others. There are two, maybe three others.
It wouldn't let me move the Jets.

Re: Relocation

I would piss myself if the Raiders moved Sacramento and became the Condors. (Look at the logo and Uniforms)
