Inexcusably bad draft classes

Some of these classes are beyond horrible.

The last draft class I had only had 4 CBs in it that got drafted. A single CB higher rated than a 70. The other 3 were in the 60s and 82 speed. The rest were all 70s speed and 50 overall and went undrafted.

There are always more 70 speed DBs than 90 speed DBs.

OL has the opposite problem, tons of 70+ speed OL, but most of them are 70 strength as well.

There are lots of 90 strength corners.

The last three draft classes I went through combined had a total of 8 DTs that were over 300 pounds.

The FA section of madden after all these seasons is just RE and LEs who are all ~295 pounds and slow.

Re: Inexcusably bad draft classes

arent rookies overall rated lower in this years game? I mean the Redskins 2nd round pick CB David Amerson is only a 69 in Madden 25... in 13 he'd be about a 76

I've noticed an abundance of sub-70 spd WRs. The slowest receiver I ever came across generated or otherwise was 72 spd Brian Finneran in Madden 11. There does seem to be something off about the draft classes

i thought the draft classes in 13 were way too strong so was hoping it was changed a bit. there were always a ton of CBs and WRs that you could dominate with late or left undrafted.

haven't made it through a full season yet so cant really have an opinion on this year.

I agree, it just seems with this thread tho, that they went in the opposite direction and made draft classes epicly underpowered.

Sub 70 speed WR's?? How does that even.... ???

Im ok with weakening them overall, but when there is a single CB in the draft that is higher than 80 speed you have a major issue.

Re: Inexcusably bad draft classes

I think they mailed it in because they'd assume people would import.

There hasn't been a good class since they copied the Head Coach drafts.

I miss those.
