Kicking meter sometimes not working

This could certainly be just a controller issue but my controller works fine with every other game so I thought I would bring this up. I would say about 20-30% of my kicks, the down meter works just fine but when I go up to stop it, it just doesn't register. I never have an issue with the thumbstick in any other game so I thought I would check here. Anyone else have this problem?

had the same problem, theres a free app in the indie games section that does a controller test, my right stick would go 100% in every direction but up so in all other games i couldnt really notice

Of course it doesn't. Whats next. I could see a glitch where you have to run into your own end zone to score a TD in Madden 25

I made a thread about this. It did it with my new wired controller for some reason, went to wireless and it was fine.

Been happening to me for at least the last 2 maddens. Pretty annoying on crucial FGs lol

I had 1 specific controller that would do that on previous maddens. I put a dot on it and stopped using it for madden. No problems since.

It would help to give users a choice of what kicking interface to use. I liked the one in Madden 12 better where you push A and don't use the stick.
