Is there Auto Sprint in Madden 25?

I searched and didn't see anything on this topic. Sorry if its been asked. Is there auto sprint in Madden 25?

No, they took it out. For what reason....I have no idea. They seemed pretty confident in it when it was first advertised.

Madden 25 doesn't have sprint at all. They replaced it with acceleration burst. All players get up to their top speed automatically.

I'm not sure, but I would guess that its still in NCAA, because the article I read mentioned the removal of auto-sprint being in conjunction with the Run Free system, which isn't in NCAA.

But yeah, I liked it too. Not having to worry about when to sprint made it easier for me to focus on looking for running lanes. At the very least, they should have set it to be off on default, but give us the option to turn it back on. Removing the option entirely doesn't make sense to me.

Correct, there is no "sprint" button in M25. As far as I know, the R2 button just gives the player a speed bust, which can be used to GET to his top speed faster (at the cost of some stamina). So you shouldn't hold R2 all the time, as it will tire out your players quickly.

interesting. so its like a speed burst. this whole time i have still been holding it the entire run...
