I wonder whose idea it was to put a clock in there. I guess maybe it was for playing online, to hurry up the process, but why make it such a short amount of time?!
This stuff matters too, especially in the NFL where there are so many close games. It makes a difference to have the wind at your back in the 4th quarter.
If real NFL refs were to simulate what goes on here in this instance in Madden, they would take the guy making the call and spin him around like 30 times until he was so dizzy he didn't know which way was up, they say okay which side do want to defend? You got two seconds! Go!

I just checked the bugs thread and people have posted it there. Thing is, it was probably posted there last year too. It would take them probably less than an hour to get in there and fix the arrow, then maybe extend the time to 5 seconds, or 8.
