Defenders running with my RB, instead of tackling him?

I finally made a near perfect slider set, only to have this glitch ruin it for me

I'm running up the sideline with montee ball, and the defense clearly has the angle on him. Next thing I know, they're just running side by side.
It's not auto strafe because I turned it off.
It happened to me while I was on D too. It's like there's an invisible barrier.
Eventually they make a terrible looking dive for the tackle but the stats get completely screwed when a 10 yard run turns into a 30 yard run!

You think it's something with the sliders I made?
Anyone else having the issue?

never had it while running but I get that every once in awhile while on defense -- its annoying

I never noticed until these last 2 games. It blows. As glitchy as the game is, I suppose it's nitpicking. But still

its not nitpicking at all -- like u said the barrier prevents a tackle -- if its their way of "balancing" out stats then have him break the tackle instead

True that! I thought maybe it was game speed or maybe speed threshold somehow. But I'm entirely done experimenting. I've been doin it since it came out

I play on normal with a threshold of 11 -- I still get that

These last couple games I've been on normal with speed thresh on 40.
But before I was playing slow with it at 50 and I really can't remember it happening. But I did a lot of quitting if the sliders were off. Aha so no tellin

Happens to me ALL THE TIME. Even created a thread about it a week or so ago. My defender will just run on the ball carriers hip and I cannot dive, hit stick, or make contact w/ them for 5-7 yards. Seems to be the worst when a player is turning up field.

And I agree about your invisible barrier comment. It feels like there is some sort of force field on the ball carrier that I cannot get past. Extremely weird and I don't understand it
