Is the AI cheating on Fake FGs?

I was down 21-10 to San Diego with 3 seconds left and I was on the SD 3. I call a fake Field Goal (and make sure not to check the play art, because that has tipped off the AI in the past). All I do is line up for the FG and suddenly the Chargers move back into a normal defense. Sure enough, the coverage is enough to force a drop from my backup TE.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. San Diego should never see that coming, and the fact that EA is giving the CPU an unfair advantage kind of pisses me off.

It definitely is.

This is how EA program their sports games and it is very frustrating.

Every time you go for a fake FG vs CPU they will know, the same that if you ask madden when the CPU will fake a field goal, or punt, it will tell you when to watch for it.

I find on fake FGs, I'm sacked as soon as my holder stands up. No chance to do anything.

The AI knows your play, that's been in Madden for years.

On All Madden it's not even hidden at all. I don't bother playing the CPU anymore, but I know in past versions it was hilariously bad.

You'd come up to the line with a run play called, the AI D would bring 8 into the box. You'd audible into a pass play, they'd move the safety back into the secondary. Rinse/repeat.

You call a play, the CPU knows you called a fake FG but you think you can disguise it so well the CPU will have no clue. IT KNOWS YOUR EVERY MOVE....
