It should be, but then people would complain how ridiculous the drops were and EA would be forced to change it by patch

Yeah I'm sure he will but it won't be enough.

He'll still run perfect routes, always be in position, lined up correctly, blocking perfectly and willingly but will just drop a complete sitter every 3 or 4 targets.

That makes a huge difference and I'm a fan of the QB accuracy slider adjustments, but the real issue is how WRs are only differentiated in madden by their speed and catching ability only.

We need to put pressure on EA to really work on things such as route running and even zone awareness for a WR. Would absolutely revolutionise the passing game on madden, in addition to about 400 more ball trajectories and differences between QB throwing styles...

This is exactly what I was thinking watching the game as well. Receivers with poor route running and awareness should look as clueless as the Patriots last night. I'd like to see guys like this run the wrong route, cut too late or too early, or simply get in horrible position in relation to the CB.

More 'drops' isnt really the answer to all these problems, but additional animations for drops or pathetic attempts at a ball would be welcomed.

All of this would be great. I want to see more incomplete passes due to a slight over/under throw. I play with QBA @ 5 an usually the ball either soars 10 yards away or it's dropped. I have seen close misses, but none of the misses should be that horrible. If an actual QB ever threw the ball like that, they would never make any team. I don't see any passes where the receiver leaps out and the ball just grazes their fingers and keeps flying. I don't see any passes that are caught low to the ground and end up being incomplete because the ball tipped the turf.

Also, I'd like to see the ball stay on its path. Too many times I've thrown an interception, or threw what was looking like an incomplete pass, and went back to watch the replay and the ball gets sucked in to the hands of the db/receiver from a yard away.

I'm still wanting them to put in one little switch that goes from "Default" to "Simulation." Default is just like it is now, Simulation enables all this other stuff that "nobody wants" and gives us more realistic games and stats without being ridiculous.
