Re: Owner mode is pointless.

After seeing all the bugs and glitches that in owner mode and now this. This just reminds me why I didn't buy current gen version. Will it be improve in next gen Madden25? I doubt it will. But people got to remember this ain't the developers fault. They do what the higher ups say to do when it comes to Madden. Plus with the Dev. only have 9 months to work with in between releases. It's hard for them to get it done. But yes they have no excuses for this. Either implant it right or not at all. No reason for doing it half way and then that is it. That bugs my sometime. But all we can do is play it or not.

Just so we're on the same page, just because they don't have some pretty cosmetic stadium builder, and instead have a stadium with elements that we have to invest in and upgrade and now influences our fan happiness, income and other things that are part of the "all new" owner mode it shouldn't have been implemented at all?

Not doing it right is likely way many features get removed that didn't deserve to... since they couldn't be done right in conjunction with new features. As you said, they can't do everything for a variety of reasons.

Seriously this whole franchise mode is so bogus, owner, coach, whatever, its so fake and broken. It just has tons of menus to make it look busy. The whole scheme system is broke. Good idea but not done right. XP system is boring. Practice is boring. I hate how there is fake coaches in the game, ugh. Its just so sad.

Re: Owner mode is pointless.

They definitely could have condensed the controls and menus in Owner mode.

I spend a lot of time needlessly jumping back and forth endlessly through multiple menus. Example, who thought that it was a good idea to not include a quick one-click button to view a player's current contract from the roster screen? Obviously someone that didn't play-test it for very long.

The entire interface could have been made a whole helluva lot more efficient instead of trying to make it look like the Windows Phone OS "Tiles" / Metro interface.

But yeah, stadium creation was a letdown after I remember YEARS ago there being much, MUCH better team and stadium creation options.

Most of the team names and uniforms / logos of the new cities you can move to, are a complete joke.

My biggest gripe with Madden is that they remove features and then later on re-implement them in a WORSE way than they previously were.

How about one of the media questions, where after resigning a bunch of players and deciding to let multiple walk in Free Agency, the media question asks me about a SPECIFIC player WITHOUT NAMING THE PLAYER THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT.

I'm supposed to give an accurate answer and they can't even tell me what player they're asking me about? And I'm going to get penalized if I resign or let walk the player that they won't name? Cause that makes sense.

I thought it was like a mode where we can pick from different options, like we actually build the stadium like on the old Madden on PS2, but of course not. Its just so lazy and boring.

Please, someone tell me I missed something.
Odd. right before my PS3 scratched my Madden 25 disc, I did Owner Mode as The Raiders. I simmed each week of the preseason and clicked yes I would like to move the team. I then played out the regular season, and over the course of the regular season I was given options in terms of relocating including building a new stadium. Then when my game stopped working I had actually picked the size of the stadium.

Maybe it was because you simmed but did you sim the entire season at once or did you go by week? If you simmed the entire season, that may be the problem. Sim by week and you'll be able to build the stadium after you choose to relocate the team.

I agree with this completely! Especially for the PS3 in which the menus are so laggy. I hate have to go out the menus like trade for example to just like at a player's attributes. It's the same with picking coaching schemes as well.

besides the insane glitch count, this is why I play online even when simming a solo franchise, because the menu's are not nearly as bad as when offline, where it can lag forever.

EXACTLY. The menu lag (it's TERRIBAD on Xbox online CFM) only compounds the issue by a million times.

This should have been blatantly obvious to play testers, especially in a game touting the new Owner mode as one of it's primary enhancements.
