I don't remember Man Align on defense being this bad in M13. Guys are covering the wrong guys across the field pre-snap too often and I shouldn't have to hit man-align in the hot menu to try and get them to line up right.

No offense to OP, but I don't really care about the presentation issues or whether the uniforms are correct. For me, and some of these have been mentioned:

1) Still no in-game saves
2) Repeating draft class bug
3) Player ratings do not matter enough
4) XP (I absolutely can't stand the idea that we should be deciding what aspects of a player improve - can anything be further from reality?)
5) Okay, yeah, Simms does suck.

I agree with pretty much every single thing. I sim a lot of game and I just want my RB's to split carries...that's all I want, the CPU team's do it, but using auto subs does nothing.

1.) Auto-Subs
2.) 7th Round Rookie Captains???? WTF is that?
3.) Phil Sims is a dick.

Buying the lower costs and extra xp for my coach...which lasts one season. After that every cost to buy something is actually going up significantly. I'm on my year 3 of my Falcons franchise and Mike Smith is killing me with the cost to unlock things. The costs at first went down like it should in season 1 but after that season it has went up in season 2 and now in season 3.

Re: Top 5 most annoying things about madden 25

lack of balance in playcalling by the cpu ai when playing certain teams. Teams like the broncos, saints, and packers will call 50 pass plays in a 12-15 min qu. game and run the ball a TOTAL of 6 times. This happens whether they are up by 20 or down by 20. The tendencies of run/pass is just way too out of wack to feel like a legit game plan.

I actually disagree with you on number 4. Improving specific attributes is pretty true to life. Here is what I mean.

Coaches put different emphasis on certain things when coaching. For example, Tom Coughlin puts a huge emphasis on not fumbling...RB Car. Chicago Bears put a big emphasis on turnovers, Def Int, Hit Power, etc. Now I'm sure they draft players who have the skill sets they covet but I guarantee you they work on them in practice as well which would be the same as XP. Even in the offseason guys go to special camps to work on SPD, AGI, ACC, STR, etc. Or during the season working with the jugs machine to improve CTH, SPC. There are so many guys who are phenomenal in certain areas but really terrible in others. What do you think NFL coaches are trying to improve the areas they excel in or the ones they're weak in?

How is randomly progressing players any more realistic? NCAA has auto progression and there is no rhyme or reason why a guy goes from 88 to a 95 which is what happened to my backup qb in my dynasty.

I don't have a problem with focusing training in certain areas - I think you are right, that is the most realistic way to do progression. I do have a problem with a guarantee of doing A will cause an increase in ratings of B. Players do not all improve at the same rate, and not all training results in improvement. Some players you can give oodles of training to, but they will show no improvement. Others will show tremendous improvement with just a little training. Instead of the XP process, give us an ability to direct training to individual areas. Then, have the success of that training vary (by a hidden factor). That would address both your concerns and mine, no?
